Kiek, like Gemke always called her, was like a mirror to Gemke and learned her a lot about herself. Gemke and Kiki were always together also on holidays. Gemke describes Kiki as physically strong, strong character, but very loving to people and patient.
Unfortunately Kiki became ill all at a sudden. The docters didn't know what was going on. Several problems occured, intestinal infection, pneumonia and liverproblems caused by the medication. As often happens, Kiki seemed to get better in the weekend, but on Monday it was just a sudden over. She couldn't make it.
Dear Gemke, Kiki will really be missed. We know you have done everything you could for her. And she knows too. Thank you very much!!
